I’m so glad you’re here, welcome.

If you’re tired of being angry or shrinking to keep the peace, you’re exactly who I help. I’m a trauma therapist for women in Oklahoma.

Everyone thinks you’re fine, and that’s the problem

The idea that you want to belong somewhere, anywhere, has you tied up in knots. You crave the intimacy of someone getting you, just once, and at the same time, you understand that in order for that to happen you would have to be brave.

Like super brave.

Sometimes, late at night, you think to yourself, “if they knew the real me, they wouldn’t accept me.”

You feel invisible, unwanted, alone.

You’re starting to understand that in your efforts to achieve love and success you have become a hardened shell filled with anxiety, anger, and resentment.

All that masking kept you safe, but it’s also keeping everyone out.
It doesn’t have to stay that way.

Have you tried therapy before?

Did you end up feeling more misunderstood, lonely and angry than when you walked in to begin with?

I hear you.

I also want you to consider that maybe you weren’t in the space to be able to really lean into those difficult emotions and circumstances that you’ve been through.

You are now.

Therapy isn’t a one-size-fits all type of service. Different times of your life need different therapists.

What’s different here is that we aren’t just talking about what happened. We’re exploring the parts of you that had to bend or change to get your needs met.

The work is relational, which means our relationship is part of the healing. No masking or pretending required.

The Healing Our Core Issues Model helps us get clear on how your past still shapes your decisions and your beliefs about yourself. If you were praised and constantly reinforced for being “the easy kid,” you may still struggle to ask for anything because you’d feel like a burden.

When you’re ready, EMDR therapy helps your brain reprocess the memories that still hijack your present, so the past stops showing up in your clenched jaw, the knots in your stomach, and the irritation laced through your reactions. An EMDR intensive lets you go deeper.

Through all of it, we pay attention to your body, not just your thoughts. You can’t think your way out of something your body is still holding. That’s where the calm your body is craving comes from.

I’m the eldest daughter. Of course I became a therapist.

Being the one who holds everything together isn’t just your story. It’s mine too. I know the shame that comes from not feeling good enough, feeling that I have to perform in order to have love, or wanting to avoid and hide myself from the world. So, when we work together, you won’t just get a trained therapist. You’ll get someone who truly understands what you’re going through.

“Therapy is a way to be deeply seen and held while also demanding vulnerability and risk. ”

MY GUIDING PRINCIPLES

COMPASSION

Sharing in your pain and letting you know that you are not alone.

AUTHENTICITY

You’ve spent your whole life being the strong one. This space is for the version of you who doesn’t have it all together, and doesn’t have to.

HUMOR

Because sometimes the only sane response to your life is to laugh at it. Then we go deeper.

TIME

We go at your pace, because real change doesn’t happen on a deadline.

Your needs were never too much. There was just never enough room for you.

There’s room for you here.
